According to The Mail, after losing the title, Anok shared an uncaptioned picture of Kanye West memorably interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMAs.
Fans took this to mean that the model was claiming she had been passed up by the British Fashion Council.
The 26-year-old publicly criticized the British Fashion Council on her X page, which was once Twitter.
Anok added in the since-deleted post: “Alex [Consani], you have my affection and my admiration. Thank you, British Fashion Council, but I no longer desire it.
“You would know how proud I am of Alex if you had seen the work she has put out. However, I might feel worn out and Alex can feel pleased all at once.
