In a little ceremony that took place in February 2023, Bush and another bodyguard, Cortney Merritts, were married. Bell was backed earlier this month by her local publication, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Not all Democrats in the House have abandoned Bush just yet. House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA) and the Missouri Democrat were campaigning together on Friday,
